Law Roach Reaction to Zendaya & Anna Sawai Twinning Goes Viral

At the 2025 Met Gala, Law Roach, Zendaya’s stylist, went viral for his priceless reaction to actress Anna Sawai’s Met Gala look. While attending the event, Roach was caught on camera during an interview, noticing Sawai’s outfit, which was similar to Zendaya’s.

Zendaya’s stylist goes viral after his reaction to Anna Sawai twinning at Met Gala

Law Roach had an unexpected reaction at the 2025 Met Gala when he noticed actress Anna Sawai wearing a similar outfit to Zendaya. While giving an interview on the red carpet during the May 5 event at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Roach, who styled Zendaya for the evening, suddenly spotted Sawai in a similar white ensemble. In HelloBeautiful! TikTok video, he said, “I am dying ‘cause she’s got on Zendaya’s look,” before adding with a laugh, “I’m so glad we came early” (via E! News).

Though Zendaya and Sawai’s outfits were similar, each had unique touches. Zendaya’s outfit was a three-piece Louis Vuitton zoot suit custom designed by Pharrell Williams, included a fitted vest, flared trousers, a white collared shirt, and a tie.

She accessorized with red nails, a sparkling brooch placed just below her back collar, and a wide-brimmed hat. Meanwhile, Sawai’s Dior ensemble featured wide-leg pants and distinct pocket detailing, along with matching white gloves and a similar collared shirt and tie.

Zendaya and Sawai’s outfits paid homage to the 2025 Met Gala theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” and its “Tailored for You” dress code. In addition to styling Zendaya, Roach also debuted his own new look that night. Known for his long black hair, the stylist debuted a bold blonde pixie cut at the event. He told Vogue in an interview that the shift was part of “telling a story.”

The 2025 Met Gala was co-chaired by Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams, and Anna Wintour. As always, the gala raised funds to benefit The Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
