Timothée Chalamet & Kylie Jenner Make Their First Red Carpet Debut Together

Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner made their red carpet debut—not at the 2025 Met Gala, but thousands of miles away at the 70th David Di Donatello Awards in Rome. The couple, who have been quietly dating for around two years, finally posed together at a public event, which is a big step according to fans in their otherwise low-profile relationship.

Timothée Chalament and Kylie Jenner make their debut at red carpet together

Timothee Chalamet, honored at the Italian awards ceremony for his cinematic contributions, stepped onto the red carpet holding hands with Kylie Jenner. Both stars opted for sleek black ensembles, exuding old-Hollywood charm with a modern twist. Their appearance together was as stylish as it was major, especially for fans who’ve been waiting for a red carpet moment since their romance first made headlines in 2023.

While Jenner has previously supported Chalamet at multiple awards shows, including the Oscars, BAFTAs, and Golden Globes, the two had never walked a red carpet side by side. This Rome appearance marked the first time, and it was especially momentous for Chalamet, who received the prestigious David for Cinematic Excellence award. Known as the Italian equivalent of the Academy Awards, the recognition celebrates his versatile contributions to film.

From playing Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown to headlining major franchises like Dune, Chalamet’s recent body of work has garnered international acclaim. According to Piera Detassis, the president and artistic director of the Academy of Italian Cinema, Chalamet’s capability of “being both an auteur performer and a star generating trends and styles” sets him apart as a standout in modern cinema (via Entertainment Weekly).

Interestingly, the couple’s debut followed closely after Jenner’s solo appearance at the 2025 Met Gala. While she stunned in a custom Ferragamo look, Chalamet was noticeably absent, reportedly keeping up with a Knicks game remotely.
