Selena Gomez, who has been in the news recently following release of her and Benny Blanco‘s music video “Talk,” recently spoke about her relationship with Blanco in a recent podcast appearance. The actress-singer explained how her first kiss with the record producer had a sweet yet awkward effect on her.

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco recently appeared on Table Manners With Jessie and Lennie Ware., discussing multiple topics, including their wedding plans. They also explained how their first kiss panned out. “We were hanging out on our second date, towards the end of the date, we were sitting in the living room, on the couch and we were playing ‘We’re not really strangers,'” Blanco said.
Blanco then shared how he and Gomez came across something that said, “Take a selfie with the person next to you.” The producer recalled Gomez getting on his chest and taking a selfie. He then that he looked at her and said, “I got to kiss this girl.”
“And I kissed her right away,” Blanco added. Gomez then responded that Blanco’s kiss
“was a very good kiss,” when asked about it. Blanco then explained how Gomez’s “heart started beating so quickly.” He shared, “She started getting a rash on her face and she was so nervous,” he added. He jokingly mentioned him being “disgusting and repulsive” as the reason for the rash.
Gomez then opened up about the reason behind the rash. She explained that she hadn’t “liked anyone in a very long time,” noting how some kisses were “for fun,” but “when you feel something behind a kiss, it’s completely different.”
Gomez then explained that she’d been “alone for about five years,” barring “a few s—– dates here and there.” The actress further recalled being a “little embarassed” and Blanco asking her if she was fine. “And I was like, ‘No, no I’m fine,'” Gomez added. “I didn’t want to be like, ‘I like you, I really like you.'”
