Hailey Bieber is candid about getting another ovarian cyst. The wife of Justin Bieber has taken to social media to share her health struggles. The Rhode Beauty owner sympathized with her followers who might also be going through the same problems, writing, “I’m right there with ya!”
What did Hailey Bieber say about her ovarian cyst diagnosis?
Hailey Bieber shared on her Instagram Story that she currently has “2 ovarian cysts.” The model wrote, “Currently have 2 ovarian cysts. If you deal with ovarian cysts, I’m right there with ya!” (via USA Today)
As per the National Library of Medicine, ovarian cysts are “fluid-filled structures that may be simple or complex.” While generally the process of removing the cysts is not dangerous, it can cause complications, including “rupture, hemorrhage, and torsion, which are considered gynecological emergencies.”
This isn’t the first time that Hailey Bieber is dealing with ovarian cysts. In November 2022, Bieber took to her Instagram Story to speak of her reproductive health struggles. She revealed that she has a “cyst on my ovary the size of an apple” (via USA Today).
Bieber also experienced another health emergency in 2022. She shared the details of her “mini stroke” in a YouTube video. The influencer explained that she was having breakfast with her husband, Justin Bieber, when she experienced a sudden shooting pain down her arm.
“I couldn’t speak. The right side of my face started drooping, I couldn’t get a sentence out,” she added. After she went to the hospital, tests showed that she had a small blood clot on her brain, which resolved on its own. Bieber shared that she experienced a transient ischemic attack.
Bieber also shared additional details that she found out from the tests. She said, “They found that I had a grade 5 PFO [patent foramen ovale], which is the highest grade that you can have. Mine was fairly large. My blood clot escaped through the flap, or the hole, in my heart and traveled to my brain, and that was why I had my TIA.”
