Jennifer Garner and her boyfriend, John Miller, are reportedly facing relationship struggles, and sources claim Ben Affleck could be the reason. The couple seems to be considering therapy and seeks to set clearer boundaries with Garner’s famous ex-husband.
Here’s what the report has stated.
John Miller isn’t liking Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner relationship, rumors suggest
John Miller and his girlfriend, Jennifer Garner, are reportedly trying to resolve their relationship issues through couples therapy. According to a recent report by RadarOnline, the decision to consider therapy was made because of recurring tensions involving Jennifer Garner’s ex-husband, Ben Affleck.
Garner and Affleck have worked hard to maintain a healthy co-parenting relationship for their three children: Violet, Fin, and Samuel. However, sources suggest that the dynamic may now be interfering with her current relationship. The final straw reportedly came during their son Samuel’s 13th birthday celebration, where both were seen looking close. Ben Affleck was reportedly seen with his arms around Jennifer Garner, which seems to have not gone unnoticed by John Miller.
According to the insider, “John has been so patient with the whole Ben situation, but it’s really grating on him. He loves Jennifer and doesn’t want to lose her, but there’s only so long he can stand having a third wheel in this relationship before he cracks.” It seems he understands the need for Affleck to be present as a co-parent. However, the consistent overlap into Garner’s personal life is reportedly making him feel sidelined.
“He’s not asking her to boot him from her life completely, but he’s sick and tired of being made to look like some sort of fool,” the source continued. “Ben is always over at the house…usually stays for dinner, and he’s there on every holiday of the year, too…John is demanding that she set better boundaries with Ben,” they added.
Garner and Affleck first crossed paths on the set of Pearl Harbor. Soon after, they married in 2005 and welcomed three children before divorcing in 2018. Despite the split, they’ve remained supportive co-parents—though their closeness may now be testing Garner’s current romance.
