Former news anchor Connie Chung and her husband, Maury Povich, have come out to share an interesting tidbit about their relationship on the latter’s podcast. The couple, who have been with one another for four decades, discussed their Sunday plans on the talk show and ended up spilling some beans about their intimate time together.
So, here’s what the celebrity couple had to say about their personal life in the recent episode of Povich’s podcast.
Connie Chung shares intimate confession
Maury Povich recently launched his podcast on Monday, March 31, and decided to invite his long-term partner on the very first episode. The couple tied the knot in 1984 and celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary last year.
As the conversation commenced on the On Par with Maury Povich podcast, Connie Chung proceeded to ask her husband, “I feel sexiest when,” in hopes of getting a response from the veteran television personality.
While it took some time for Povich to get a hang of the game, he eventually answered, “I feel sexiest on Sundays,” before bursting into laughter with his wife, indicating an inside joke between the pair. Chung then issued a suggestive reply to her husband, noting, “Never on Sunday.” Povich instantly quipped, “Not in OUR house!” jokingly confirming that nothing could get in between the pair’s intimate time that occurs on Sundays.
“It’s always been. Everybody says, ‘Can we play golf on Sunday? Nope. Sunday is with Connie,” the former radio reporter emphasized. Connie Chung once again chimed in to build on her husband’s joke by signaling a key to her mouth. While the duo refrained from using any clear terminology, their coy demeanor, combined with their constant smiling, was enough to make listeners understand that they were talking about their intimate moments on the weekends.
Having just launched On Par with Maury Povich, the former Maury host is set to air new episodes of the talk show every other Monday.
