Who Got Eliminated & Went Home on The Voice This Week (March 31)?

Wondering who didn’t make it through the first Knockouts on The Voice Season 27? A high-stakes episode on March 31 marked a major turning point as the competition intensified and the Coaches were forced to make tough decisions—with no Saves available this round. For the first time this season, eliminations were final, and several Artists saw their journey end.

Here’s who was eliminated, how each decision played out, and what it means for the teams moving forward.

Here’s who got eliminated on The Voice on March 31

On March 31, 2025, the first round of Knockouts aired on The Voice Season 27, marking the end of the line for several contestants.

With no Saves available, only winning Knockout performances advanced. John Legend’s team remained intact after the first Knockouts, as BD.ii won his round and Kolby Cordell moved to Team Adam.

Team Kelsea lost Dan Kiernan after he competed against Tinika Wyatt. Kiernan earned chair turns during his Blind Audition, but Kelsea Ballerini only brought him onto her team using a Coach Replay. Wyatt, who didn’t receive any chair turns initially, performed an original song that earned her a Replay from Adam Levine. Ballerini later stole her for her team. She declared Wyatt the winner of their Knockout and eliminated Kiernan, though she gave him her phone number before he left.

Team Adam lost both Grace-Miller Moody and Trevon Dawson. Dawson, 17 years old and the only country artist on Adam Levine’s team exited early in the Knockouts. Neither Dawson nor Moody advanced past their performances, leaving Levine without two of his team members.

Team Bublé saw Simone Marijic leave after she performed against Barry Jean Fontenot. Michael Bublé chose to continue with Fontenot, citing his instrumental talent as a key factor. He gave Marijic his contact information after eliminating her, following a similar gesture made earlier by Ballerini.

Reflecting on the process, Bublé stated to NBC Insider, “My favorite part about it, was when I had to let people go for the first time, I was upset about it. Until I realized that their lives had changed. Until I realized that their careers had started. They started to create a business that could go on.”
