Rachel Zegler Changed Instagram Bio Again Amid Snow White Controversy

Amid controversies that have surrounded Rachel Zegler and the Snow White live-action remake, the actress has updated her Instagram bio for the third time in two days. The 23-year-old has faced backlash on the internet for her opinions about the iconic Disney fairytale and statements she has made regarding the Israel-Palestine conflict. There has also been speculation about a feud between her and her co-star Gal Gadot.

Here is everything fans need to know about the recent changes made by Zegler to her social media bio.

Rachel Zegler updates Instagram bio amid Snow White controversy

The West Side Story star has modified her Instagram handle, replacing her previous two bios with a new phrase.

Rachel Zegler’s bio now reads, “Lenny’s mom,” referring to her adorable dog. In addition to this, there’s a link that redirects users to a ticketing website for the upcoming shows of Evita at the London Palladium. This is the third change she’s made to her bio in the past two days.

Before this, Zegler’s Instagram bio read, “fearless, fair, brave, and true,” per a Reddit thread. This second change closely followed another update made by Zegler to her account, which saw her add “Golden Globes winner who does hard things” to her Instagram bio.

Rachel Zegler’s decision to alter her social media bio has notably coincided with the theatrical release of Snow White. The much-discussed project has underperformed at the global box office so far.

Jonah Platt, the son of Snow White producer Marc Platt, recently claimed that Zegler’s actions in the past year have “clearly hurt” the financial performance of the movie.

Platt also referred to Rachel Zegler’s August 2024 comments regarding the Israel-Palestine conflict, explaining how the actress’ statements forced his father to “reprimand” her for “dragging her personal politics into the middle of promoting the movie.”
