What’s the status of Reacher Season 4?
Reacher Season 4 has been renewed.
Season 3 dropped its last episode today, March 27, 2025. It had a total of 8 episodes. However, fans were expecting an extra set of episodes or part 2. This was due to the latest trend by the streaming platforms of dividing a particular season’s show into two or three parts.
Netflix followed this strategy for many of its popular shows. But Reacher does not seem to follow this trend as it released all its episodes as per their schedule. Aside from additional episodes, fans were looking forward to the next season of the series.
The good news is the show will be rolling out its Season 4. For the unversed, Reacher Season 4 was announced in October 2024, much ahead of the premiere of the third installment. The show is enjoying a successful run on the streaming platform, so the early renewal wasn’t a surprise. The head of television at Amazon MGM Studios, Vernon Sanders, showered praise on the franchise while announcing Season 4’s renewal.
He stated, “Reacher has become a phenomenon that continues to resonate with our global customers beyond our wildest expectations and we are thrilled to bring the series back for an additional season.”
Sanders further added, “We are looking forward to more action and adventure from the immensely talented team behind the series including Nick Santora, Alan Ritchson, Lee Child, Skydance, and CBS Studios” (via Deadline).
As of now, it is yet to be seen which of the Jack Reacher book series Season 4 will follow. Nevertheless, the next chapter is expected to be a notch higher in terms of entertainment and drama.
