Billy Ray Cyrus has come out to shower his daughters, Miley and Noah, with praise for their latest contributions to the music industry. The singer expressed his feelings about his kids in an emotional social media post, where Billy Ray Cyrus not only congratulated his daughters but also noted how proud he was regarding the two’s recent projects.
Here’s what the two-time Grammy winner had to say about his two daughters.
Billy Ray Cyrus pens a note for Miley and Noah Cyrus
On March 25, Billy Ray Cyrus took to Instagram to convey the emotions he felt after witnessing Miley and Noah’s immense success of late. “Holy s—. I seldom ever swear in my post but this deserves one! You are witnessing in real time what it feels like for a Dad who with in less than one [week’s] time has had his ass kicked and his mind blown by not one …but two of his own daughters,” the singer wrote in his social media post.
He then doubled down on how proud he was of his daughters’ achievements, noting, “Flesh and blood…completely taking their art to a whole new level. Congratulations girls ! Well done. I’m so damn proud of both of you. I’m actually crying as I write this. Thank God you can’t see me.”
The message from the industry icon comes one week after Noah Cyrus published the official video of her latest single with Fleet Foxes, “Don’t Put It All On Me.” Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus is gearing up for the release of her ninth studio album, which is on track to come out in May 2025. In order to honor Miley’s Something Beautiful album and Noah’s recent hit, Billy Ray Cyrus also included a side-by-side image of his daughters from their latest projects, in addition to the endearing caption.
While Billy Ray Cyrus appears close with his daughters, Miley and Noah, the larger Cyrus family feud has shown no signs of resolution so far. The issue in the family first came to the public’s attention when Trace Cyrus took to social media to share his concerns and reservations regarding his father’s recent behavior. Several Cyrus family members have since come out to share their thoughts on the matter.
