Speaking on the Jay Shetty Podcast on March 24, Selena Gomez shared that she is excited about becoming a mother in the future. She opened up about her deep love for children and her excitement to start a family with Benny Blanco. The couple talked about their relationship and future plans.

Gomez emphasized how much she enjoys being around kids, referencing her close relationship with her younger sister, Gracie, who is 11 years old. Blanco suggested this might be because of her early career as a child star, where she connected with young audiences through Barney & Friends and Wizards of Waverly Place. He stated, “When you started doing this you were a kid and that was your way to connect to people and I feel like you still feel like you have that obligation to connect with young kids.” Gomez also described her relationship with Blanco as something truly special, describing it as “rare to find.”
