Blake Lively fan accuses her of following her to the car

A fan has accused Blake Lively of displaying “paranoid” behavior after a surprising encounter at a hotel in Texas. Kaitlyn Cooper shared with the Daily Mail that she stayed at The Hotel 1928 in Waco on March 8, where she unexpectedly ran into the actress.

According to Cooper, the hotel staff hinted at the presence of a VIP guest. Later, a server confirmed it was Lively, who had recently attended the SXSW festival to promote her film Another Simple Favor. Cooper claims she later saw Lively in the hotel lobby and discreetly recorded her to share it with friends. However, Lively appeared to notice and quickly covered her face before security escorted her away.

The situation allegedly took a turn the following morning. While Cooper was packing her car to leave, she says Lively unexpectedly approached her with her phone raised as if recording. Cooper recalled, “We were loading up our car and I heard [someone say], ‘Hi,’ and it was a woman’s voice. I looked up, and see [Lively]. She’s got her phone up [like she’s recording me]. Out of instinct, I just said ‘hi’ back, because what do you say?”

She further alleged that Lively also seemingly aimed at her license plate while recording the incident and then handed her phone to a security guard, who continued filming before both of them returned inside.

Feeling disturbed by the encounter, Cooper later shared her experience on Instagram. She then noticed that unfamiliar accounts—one seemingly connected to the hotel and another possibly linked to Lively’s team—viewed her posts. Cooper concluded, “It’s very paranoid behavior. [I think they were] looking out to see if I would post the video of her.”
