Why is Jeff Arevalo leaving Goose band?
Goose recently took to their official Instagram handle to announce the exit of their member Jeff Arevalo.
In the statement, they stated that Arevalo is no longer a part of the band after they found out about Jeff’s “behavior” in his “personal life that does not align with the band’s core values.” The band did not share any more details regarding the nature of the behavior.
They added, “Jeff will no longer be a part of the Goose organization. This is an incredibly unfortunate, unexpected situation, and we did not anticipate having to make another painful change to the band.”
They further shared, “However, it is clear that this is the only way forward as we remain committed to upholding the values that define our community, particularly when it comes to respecting others and creating a safe environment.”
Following Arevalo’s departure from Goose, the band now comprises Peter Anspach, Rick Mitarotonda, Trevor Weekz, and Cotter Ellis. Concluding the statement, the band mentioned that the remaining members will “continue growing as a unit as we move into this next chapter, and are deeply grateful for everyone with us on this journey.”
In February 2025, Arevalo didn’t take part in Goose’s Spring Tour. He put out a statement on his Instagram, stating that it was “to focus on my mental health and personal issues.” He conveyed that “in order to continue giving my best to loved ones, to the band, and to all of you, I need to take this time to reset, heal and prioritize my well-being. I truly appreciate your understanding and support.”
