Justin Bieber Sings ‘High Like Magpie’ On Instagram Amid Drug Use Rumors

Two-time Grammy winner Justin Bieber has sparked controversy after he shared a video of himself rapping “I fly high like a magpie” on Instagram. Notably, rumors of the singer partaking in drug use are presently circulating in the media due to the unusual demeanor he has presented lately. The recent video has come as a surprise to many fans following the recent statements made by Bieber’s representatives about his situation.

Justin Bieber posts Instagram video of him singing ‘High Like a Magpie’

On February 25, Bieber took to Instagram to post a short clip of himself singing shirtless alongside a friend. Donning a blue beanie and holding some snacks in his left hand, Justin Bieber rapped, “High like a fly guy / I fly high like a magpie / I go high like a bad guy,” to a beat that played in the background. Meanwhile, one of Bieber’s friends also popped in the video, dancing to the tune of Bieber’s song while holding a cigarette in his mouth.

This incident comes two days after the Canadian pop sensation’s representatives publically denied rumors about Justin Bieber’s supposed drug use. A representative for Bieber denied the drug use rumors to TMZ, stating that Bieber has “ended several close friendships and business relationships that no longer served him.” The representative said further that Bieber has prioritized focusing on his family, health, and music, which has resulted in sleep deprivation, explaining Bieber’s pale appearance of late.

The representative also labeled the speculations surrounding his client as “pitiful,” adding that “despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive.” As such, Justin Bieber’s decision to post a video of himself singing lyrics such as “I fly high like a magpie,” two days after his team’s statements about his proposed involvement with drugs seems to have fueled the rumor mill. Bieber has yet to issue an official comment about the situation.
