Photographer Brandon Stanton has amassed a huge following thanks to his Humans of New York project, that sees him taking snapshots of everyday people living their everyday lives in the Big Apple.
With 5 million Facebook fans Stanton’s work caught the eye of Vogue magazine, who invited him to this year’s Met Gala, the biggest annual fashion show in the world.
But rather than following cues and taking photographs of celebrities while asking them “who are you wearing?” Stanton instead decided to take a much more personalized approach, as fans of HONY have come to expect from him.
Stanton’s photo set of his time at the Met Gala, which includes photos of famous and not-so-famous faces, can be viewed below. Be sure to check out Humans of New York for more.
