Maybe they ran out of plates?

A new bar in Sydney, Australia is causing controversy after pictures of its launch night was posted; pictures of naked women being used as fruit platters. The bar, named Cruise Bar, hosted a tropical-theme night party, and people aren’t too happy with what they decided to put their fruit on.

On Facebook, one woman, Ulrike Zimmerman, wrote, “Are you out of your minds? Serving food on women’s bodies is not only tasteless but is also promoting a culture where women are objectified. This is the 21st century and it is NOT ok.”
While another woman, Jane Oakley, also showed her displeasure by stating, ” Thanks Cruise Bar for so openly showing your contempt for women and contributing to the disgusting view that women’s bodies are just a utensil. I won’t be coming to your venue when I’m looking for a night out.”
Cruise Bar has not commented yet, but it is quite stupid for them to even consider doing this, let alone promote it by sharing pictures of it. It probably doesn’t fare well for the Cruise Bar moving forward.
