Exclusive: Korn Fan & Injured Veteran Corey Kemp Shares His Story
As they gear up for a huge run of 20th anniversary celebrations, Korn will be premiering a number of fan testimonials over the next month, documenting the impact the band has had on their devoted supporters. CraveOnline is proud to premiere the first installment testimonial, featuring superfan and veteran TSGT Corey Kemp.
Kemp, who served our nation at length overseas, was deployed to Afghanistan in 2010, where he was hit by a 25lb detonator charge which left him severely injured and completely blind. Whether prepping for battle or recovering from an unfathomably devastating experience while on duty, Corey explains how much the band has meant to him over the years. Watch below as he explains the impact Korn has had on him as both a fan and a soldier.
Learn more about Corey and empowering wounded war heroes at the official Helping A Hero site.
Look for Korn this coming Summer as they headline a run of major U.S. rock festivals, including Welcome to Rockville (lineup) and Fort Rock (lineup).
