All hail the PC gaming master race, for we knew what “next-gen graphics” looked like before the PS4 and Xbox One had even made it onto store shelves.
While released multi-platform games now typically boast roughly the same graphical capabilities on PC as they do consoles, it’s the PC gaming communities’ horde of modders that ensure games both old and new are transformed from “impressive” to “holy shi*, that looks so pretty my eyeballs nearly vomited rainbows”.
With that being said, here are the most impressive PC graphics mods ever, which you should probably download immediately.
The Most Stunning PC Graphics Mods Ever

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim: RealVision ENB (IMAGE #1)
Many complained that Skyrim was "dumbed down" so that it was more easy to digest for console gamers, but although there's debate over which version of the game is better, there's no question that with the inclusion of the RealVision ENB mods, Skyrim looks better on the PC not only compared to its console ports, but to most other game of its generation.

Grand Theft Auto IV: icEnhancer ENB at 4K Resolution (IMAGE #1)
Probably the most stunning graphical mod is modder Raphael's Smith implementation of the post-processing mod icEnhancer ENB on GTAIV, displayed at 4K resolution. While running this mod will require a monster of a PC, the results are undeniably glorious, making Liberty City so real you could almost take a vacation there. Not that you'd want to, obviously.

Crysis: CryZENx's Photorealistic Mod (IMAGE #1)
Crysis was the benchmark for high-end PC graphics, and CryZENx's Photorealistic mod ensured that the 2007 game continued to look way ahead of its years with realtime motion blur, mouth-watering water effects and enhanced textures. If you didn't know any better, you'd swear that you were looking at someone's vacation photos of lush tropical vistas, rather than screenshots from an FPS.

The ENB series of mods for Fallout 3 basically improve every facet of the 2008 game's visuals, from its textures to its lighting and weather. This mod series is beloved of fans of the game, and you'll struggle to find Fallout 3 PC owners who aren't running at least one of its graphical enhancements.

Doom 3: Sikkmod (IMAGE #1)
When you take into account that Doom 3 was released way back in 2004, the Sikkmod graphical enhancement mod for the game is jaw-dropping. Never have blood-smeared walls looked so darn pretty, as Sikkmod turns the aesthetics of the game up a few notches while retaining the visual style that made the game so impressive back in the day.
