Avengers: Doomsday Teaser 4 Possibly Shows a Drastic Change to [Spoiler]

Marvel Studios has released the official teaser 4 for Avengers: Doomsday. The new sneak peek leans heavily into Wakanda’s ties with Namor, and surprisingly, the Fantastic Four. However, it also shows one or two major locations that could play a crucial role in the movie. One of those is believed to be the void, while the other might just be Talokan.

Was that Talokan in Avengers: Doomsday’s fourth teaser?

As per a recent rumor, Avengers: Doomsday’s teaser 4 possibly showed us a new version of Namor’s underwater nation, Talokan. It builds on what happened after the truce between Wakanda and the underwater kingdom was first brokered in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, hinting that their alliance is not only holding but also getting stronger as a larger threat looms.

Shuri, played by Letitia Wright, and a newly crowned King M’Baku appear, while Namor and his lieutenant, Namora, can also be seen. However, the mystery in the teaser stems from the locations we see them in. Shuri and M’Baku meet The Thing in a desert, which could be anywhere on Earth. But it is widely speculated that the desert location is actually the void from Loki and Deadpool & Wolverine.

While Namor and Namora could have been shown in a similar nearby location, which may or may not be the void, renowned Marvel scooper MyTimeToShineHello claims they’re actually present at Talokan instead.

The teaser does not explicitly name the location as Talokan, but its design elements and the presence of Namor and his army could make it seem that way. However, the rumor should still be taken with a grain of salt.

Last we saw, Talokan was supposed to be underwater. But if MTTSH’s latest rumor is true, it could have emerged out of the ocean somehow. How that happened remains a mystery. But a safe bet would be to assume that Doctor Doom is involved, which is what could unite the Wakandans, Talokans, and the Fantastic Four against him.

Avengers: Doomsday’s plot is shrouded in mystery at the moment, but we might know more when a new trailer arrives next month at the Super Bowl.
