Avengers: Doomsday rumor teases Deadpool and Reed Richards’ battle
Fresh speculation has started around Avengers: Doomsday, with new reports suggesting the film may feature an unexpected confrontation between Deadpool and Reed Richards.
Industry insider Alex Perez of The Cosmic Circus, claims that Marvel Studios is planning a scene involving Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool and Pedro Pascal’s portrayal of Reed Richards, also known as Mr. Fantastic. The scene will reportedly escalate into a physical altercation. However, Marvel has not officially confirmed Reynolds’ involvement in the project.
Perez fueled speculation with a series of cryptic social media teases. In one post, he wrote, “Hmmm… Mr. Fantastic’s going up against the wrong mutant,” while reposting another post about the rumored fight sequences.
He later posted a brief clip featuring the name “Wade” alongside what appeared to be Deadpool’s legs, sending fans into a frenzy.

Despite growing online discussion, these details remain unconfirmed. Marvel Studios has not released any official information regarding Deadpool’s involvement or the rumored battle with Reed Richards. Until an official announcement is made, all reports should be viewed as speculative.
Avengers: Doomsday is currently scheduled to arrive in theaters on December 18, 2026. The cast includes Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Vanessa Kirby, Anthony Mackie, and Simu Liu among others.
