As the buzz around Pitch Perfect 4 continues to grow, franchise star Brittany Snow has provided an encouraging update regarding the much-awaited sequel. In a recent interview, the Guiding Light alum opened up about the prospects of a fourth installment in the musical rom-com film series, while also stating that one of her Hunting Wives co-stars might join the potential project.
Brittany Snow is confident about Pitch Perfect 4
While speaking to Entertainment Tonight at the premiere of her upcoming Netflix feature, The Beast in Me, Brittany Snow noted that she is optimistic about the chances of Pitch Perfect 4.
“I think Pitch Perfect 4 might happen one day,” the 39-year-old actress said before adding, “I’m not sure how old we would be or what the storyline would be, but I think it’ll happen.”
She also entertained the idea of her Hunting Wives co-star, Katie Lowes, joining the cast of the proposed fourth film, stating, “I think that’s very, very possible. I think Elizabeth Banks can get her on the phone, we can tell her that, ‘Katie Lowes wants to be a part of it.'”
Snow’s briefing about Pitch Perfect 4 comes after Rebel Wilson and Anna Camp also opened the door for a sequel in an earlier interview. While talking to ComingSoon.net about her film, Bride Hard, Wilson revealed that she had had a run-in with Kay Cannon, the original writer of Pitch Perfect. “We’ve been talking about it,” Wilson revealed of their meeting before saying, “I feel like that it’s pretty close, but we don’t have anything definite.”
Camp also expressed interest in returning for Pitch Perfect 4, stating, “I know that we would all do it, and I know that I would just be so excited to see what was happening to our characters.”
While the status of the potential fourth Pitch Perfect film continues to remain unclear at the moment, Brittany Snow will be returning for The Hunting Wives Season 2, along with Katie Lowes. Although Netflix has yet to confirm an official release date for the sequel season, Snow has confirmed that filming will begin next week and will carry on until April 2026.
