Donald Trump Jr. says that The View cohost Whoopi Goldberg was “MFing the crowd” during a commercial break during his 2019 appearance on the show. The eldest son of President Donald Trump posted on X (formerly Twitter) that his followers should revisit that episode, in response to Joy Behar asking for more Republicans to appear on the popular ABC show and suggesting that Republican men are too “scared” to come on as a guest. His explosive claim has since been corroborated by former panelist Meghan McCain who was a cohost during that episode.

When asked to clarify what Donald Trump Jr. meant by Goldberg “MFing the crowd” on The View, he said that she was cussing out the crowd “like you wouldn’t believe.”
More than that, he says the EGOT-winning actress was cursing out the audience of “very liberal New Yorkers” at the time and was yelling “this isn’t a F$&?ing MAGA rally.” Trump Jr. noted that while he had purchased about ten tickets for his friends to be the crowd, the audience of about 150 New Yorkers “wasn’t a stacked deck” of Republicans.
Former cohost Meghan McCain agreed with his assessment of the situation in a quote-tweet of his post on X. “He’s right,” she shared. “It was an absolute Jerry Springer s*** show.”
Trump Jr. further claimed that while he was invited on the episode to talk about his 2019 book “Triggered,” no one on the panel asked about it. This points to why he believes Republicans don’t want to appear on the show. “Perhaps it’s their overall disingenuous nature and the way they treat Republicans differently that makes conservatives not want to go on.”
This claim come only a few days after Cheryl Hines had a heated interview with The View cohost Sunny Hostin over the credentials of her husband, Robert F. Kennedy, as Health Secretary.
