According to a recent report by Deadline, The Last Showgirl star Pamela Anderson and Iron Man 3 actor Guy Pearce and coming together to feature in a new musical titled Queen of the Falls.
The outlet has described the musical as an indie project that will heavily feature music. While the plot of the musical is being kept under wraps, it is said that it will focus on two lovers who are on the run. Moreover, the project will be directed by Daniel Garcia and Rania Attieh. This directing duo is known for their work on projects like H., Initials S.G., and more.
Additionally, Attieh and Garcia are joined by Marius de Vries to develop music for Queen of the Falls. De Vries has made a name for himself with his work as a music producer on projects like La La Land and composed scores for movies like Kick-Ass, Eye of the Beholder, Moulin Rouge!, and many more.
The movie also has choreographer Celia Rowlson Hall attached, who has worked on projects like Aftersun and The Testament of Anne Lee.
Moreover, the outlet reports that Shruti Ganguly, who has worked with Attieh and Garcia on H. and Initials S.G., will join Queen of the Falls as a producer. She will be joined by producer Mollye Asher, known for the Oscar-winning film Nomadland.
