Sacha Baron Cohen’s Mephisto could return in 3 Marvel projects
A renowned Hollywood scooper recently shared a scoop suggesting that Sacha Baron Cohen’s Mephisto will return for more Marvel projects.
MyTimeToShineHello took to their X (formerly Twitter) account and wrote, “Mephisto will return in 3 upcoming MCU projects.” However, Marvel Studios has not revealed any plans regarding Mephisto yet.
With Mephisto’s much-awaited arrival, fans have been hoping to see Ghost Rider soon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This is because the two share a direct link, as Ghost Rider got his powers by making a deal with the devil. Meanwhile, there have been rumors that Marvel has been trying to get Ryan Gosling to portray Ghost Rider. However, these are just rumors, and nothing has been confirmed.
Showrunner Chinaka Hodge also spoke with Marvel.com recently about introducing Mephisto in Ironheart. He said, “Working with Sacha Baron Cohen — who is an incredible actor and comedian and just a brilliant mind — was one of the true joys and surprises of this project. He’s so good with character and so conscientious about not repeating. He’s very careful to make sure that his choices are in character and new and fresh. So I think we got a Mephisto like no one expects.”
“[I love] the choice for him to speak in an accent when he first meets Anthony’s character Parker, and no accent by the time he’s the most menacing. I think his accent being an American accent is an incredible choice, added Hodge.”
