Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s marriage is reportedly nearing its end. According to a source, they have separated after 19 years of living as a married couple. Reportedly, the country singer’s reason for being unhappy in the relationship was the “lack of intimacy” with his wife.
For those unversed, the two tied the knot in June 2006 and became parents to daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s marriage had no intimacy, says source
Divorce rumors involving Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s have been making headlines lately, leaving their fans in shock. According to the Daily Mail, the 58-year-old actor filed for divorce. In the court documents that the outlet received, the reason was reportedly cited as “irreconcilable differences.”
A source further revealed the singer’s side of the story. Allegedly, the couple had no intimacy, which made Burn sad in the marriage. “The intimacy isn’t there, they are just going through the motions [of being married]… Keith had to call her out that he isn’t happy,” they claimed.
Neither Kidman nor her husband has addressed the reports yet. However, online reports and sources close to them have hinted at trouble in paradise. Earlier, they revealed that the duo had been living separately since “the beginning of summer.” While the guitarist has been touring after moving out, the “Babygirl” star has been staying with their daughters.
Furthermore, a report suggested that Kidman might be “angry” and felt “betrayed” about a clause in their prenup. Ahead of their wedding, the two signed a prenuptial agreement, which might seemingly benefit the husband following their divorce.
Reportedly, the Oscar-winner has to pay a whopping “$17 million.” Burn is allegedly entitled to receive “$600,000 for every year of marriage.” As the money would come out of her personal expenses, Kidman has supposedly been fuming. “To her, it feels like rubbing salt into the wound of their break-up,” an insider stated.
