Emma Watson EXCLUSIVE: The TRUTH Behind Why I Walked Away From Fame...

Emma Watson appeared in an episode on Jay Shetty’s “On Purpose” podcast on Tuesday. They explored several topics, from early success to meaningful connections. During the conversation, she confessed that she would hope to make amends with J.K. Rowling. They have known each other since the “Harry Potter” franchise began.

Despite their close bond, the 35-year-old didn’t hesitate to oppose the author’s anti-trans remarks. This led to a clash between the two; it seemed that they were no longer sharing a cordial relationship. Reportedly, Rowling stated at the time that she would “never forgive” the Hollywood diva for going against her.

Watson, then, told Shetty that the unfortunate experience with the philanthropist didn’t mean that she didn’t “treasure Jo”. “I think, it’s my deepest wish that I hope people who don’t agree with my opinion will love me, and I hope I can keep loving people who I don’t necessarily share the same opinion with,” she added.

Furthermore, the “Beauty and the Beast” actor clarified that things became rocky between her and Rowling because of how she delivered her opinion. Hence, she believed that “conversations are really important.” Then, Watson stated that she understands people who might not be open to a chat with those with whom they are “angry and upset.”

She admitted that a conversation between the two might be the solution. “There is no world in which I could ever cancel her out, or cancel [the movies] out for anything”, the “Little Women” actor claimed.
