As part of Trumps’ official visit to the United Kingdom, Kate Middleton and Melania Trump went to Frogmore gardens this week. While there, they met with a group of young scouts from London. The children engaged in several creative activities, while Kate and Melania joined in on the fun. The gardens, where the meeting took place, is part of the Frogmore estate, which holds deep historical connections. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry used to live in the Frogmore Cottage. The estate also includes Frogmore House, where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex held their wedding reception.
The Princess of Wales, who also serves as the joint president of the scouts, told chief scout Dwayne Fields about her youngest prince’s latest fixation. As reported by the Daily Mail, “We keep finding conkers in cupboards, in his bed — conkers everywhere,” Middleton shared, laughing. She added that Louis likes to place conkers on his toy trucks during his playtime, as well. Needless to say, it has become a topic of welcome worry in the royal household.
During the visit, Kate flaunted her autumnal fashion. Her outfit comprised of a Ralph Lauren skirt, paired with a khaki suede jacket, and a brown cashmere vest by Me + Em. The cherry on top was a Sudbury Mill scarf. Meanwhile, Melania wore flat pumps, cream trousers, and a brown suede jacket, giving a classy fall look suitable for walks in nature.
As autumn settles in, one thing is for certain: even in royal households, the magic of childhood still thrives. Even as a pocketful of conkers in the youngest royals pockets.
