Jennifer Aniston Welcomes a Pop of Color in Her String of All-Black NYC Ensembles

Photos from New York City show Jennifer Aniston turning heads in a purple dress, both literally and sartorially. Known for generally opting for black outfits, especially during her recent run of “The Morning Show” press looks, the actor surprised everyone by stepping out in a deep purple slip dress. The dress immediately broke through the sea of neutral shades she had been favoring. In doing so, Aniston stepped out of her own style comfort zone, and it landed beautifully.

Jennifer Aniston pairs a frill-hem purple dress with cropped blazer in NYC photos

Jennifer Aniston’s photos show her donning a purple silk dress as she walked through the streets of NYC. The dress featured an elongated neckline and a ruffled hem, bringing movement and color that felt distinctly different from the sleek tailoring she had been wearing in the city the past few days. Aniston complemented the purple color with a cropped black blazer.

To accessorize, Aniston opted for minimal drop earrings and aviator sunglasses. Additionally, she carried a structured burgundy bag with an earthy, wine‑red hue that nodded to fall without stealing the focus away from the dress. Her footwear choice was just as deliberate. She slipped into strappy snakeskin Louboutins with narrow straps — a trend that she has tapped into multiple times over the past week amid press events.

The outing comes following her red-carpet appearance the night before, when she and her rumored boyfriend, Jim Curtis, made their first official debut at the season 4 premiere of “The Morning Show.” They arrived together in matching black looks, though Aniston walked the carpet solo.

Aniston has spent the last several days in New York choosing all‑black styles, including a tailored vest with trousers, a silky slip dress under a structured coat, and a turtleneck mini. Hence, her purple dress in NYC felt like a deliberate shift. For someone long associated with minimalist neutrals, seeing her play with royal tones suggested she was ready to ditch comfort styling.
