The pop icon was brought into the lawsuit that eventually soured her bond with the “Gossip Girl” actor. Now, as per a source, Swift won’t be a part of Lively’s 38th birthday party.

According to Rob Shuter’s #ShuterScoop, Taylor Swift isn’t on Blake Lively’s birthday party guest list. A source close to the actor told the outlet, “Taylor has not been invited. They were once inseparable, but after everything that’s gone down this year, Blake wouldn’t take her back now.” For the unversed, Swift was issued a subpoena to appear in the trial, but it was eventually dropped. As per a Hollywood insider, the “It Ends With Us” star had “always thought Taylor would be in her corner.”
However, Swift “kept her head down” and Lively “saw that as self-protection — but also as betrayal.” The report also mentioned that the actor is avoiding all distractions to focus on the important legal trial next year. “She has Ryan, her kids, and the truth on her side,” said a confidante. The individual added, “She’s not wasting time chasing people who weren’t there when it mattered.” Talking about Swift and Lively’s hopeful reunion, another insider noted, “That ship has sailed. Blake’s closed the door — and locked it.”
Most recently, it was also reported that Lively hasn’t congratulated Swift for her engagement. The Daily Mail‘s source stated, “Blake didn’t reach out [following the engagement announcement] and isn’t going to.” The outlet also mentioned how the actor “doesn’t talk about Taylor at all,” and isn’t thinking about their crippled friendship. “This is something that we would’ve talked about in the past, like what was going to happen, if she was going to be in the wedding, what that would look like. All of that. But now, it’s just silence,” the source noted.
