Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce reportedly looking for ideal home where they could set down roots
Post engagement, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce seem not to be wasting any time as they plan their marital future, starting with looking for a forever home. According to a Us Weekly source, the pair has been searching for their ideal house at various locations.
While the singer’s hometown is in West Reading, Pennsylvania, the groom-to-be currently lives in Leawood, Kansas. However, he is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. With many options in hand, the couple is reportedly not “100 percent sure where they will plant roots.”
Therefore, they have been checking out numerous locations. Although the duo has visited each other’s partners’ family homes, they gained attention during their Ohio visit. They were spotted at a French cafe in Chagrin Falls, which is near the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s hometown.
Local sources told Page Six that the 35-year-olds were seemingly looking into an $18 million mansion during their visit. Reportedly, it’s a newly built property that belonged to a married couple.
However, the husband and wife pair “had barely lived at the property” before the man passed away during COVID-19. Hence, it was relatively untouched and has been up for sale, as per the insider. The mansion appeared to be private property, which would allegedly help the newly engaged pair to keep away from the paparazzi.
Kelce and Swift sent fans into a frenzy after announcing their engagement earlier this week. They shared it on Instagram with the caption: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.” At the time of writing, the post has received over 32 million likes.
