Royals React to Meghan Markle Reminiscing Dating Days With Prince Harry, Says Source

Meghan Markle recalling her dating days with Prince Harry on “With Love, Meghan,” reportedly had royals reacting with “eye rolls.” In the season 2 premiere of her Netflix show, the Duchess of Sussex reminisced about the good old days of the early stages of her romance with Harry before he proposed and they eventually tied the knot. However, a source claimed that these flashbacks and Markle turning them into content didn’t sit well with the palace courtiers.

Meghan Markle ‘knows exactly what she’s doing’ by sharing anecdotes from her dating days with Prince Harry, says source

Rub Shuter #ShuterScoop exclusively learned about the royals’ reaction to Meghan Markle remembering her dating days with Prince Harry. A source revealed that her recollection of those moments during the season 2 premiere of her Netflix show “With Love, Meghan” was met with “eye rolls” from palace courtiers. Markle reportedly “knows exactly what she’s doing” by sharing anecdotes from her early romance days with the Duke of Sussex.

The “Suits” alum recently took a trip down memory lane, reminiscing about what dating Harry looked like initially. She revealed that he was the first one to say “I love you” and relived their Botswana tent trip. Additionally, the former actor shared details from a cooking mishap before he proposed to her in 2017. The insider alleged that Markle made it “sound like sweet anecdotes.” But each memory remains a “reminder” of her husband giving “it all up for her.”

However, Markle sharing details from her dating days with Prince Harry seemingly hit a sour note with the royals, who found it unusual. Another source explained that the royal family “has always valued privacy.” They found it “bizarre that every moment is turned into TV content” by her. A senior royal aide even described the former actor’s Netflix show as “a one-sided love letter with global distribution,” claiming that it stopped amusing The Firm long ago.
