An unnamed source, who spoke to Lownie, also claimed that the duo has shared a strained bond for years now.
The Duke of York has been a debatable figure and has been in the headlines for several controversies. His and the Prince of Wales’ relationship reportedly began showing cracks as the former’s actions began impacting public perception of the monarchy. Moreover, the source mentioned Andrew’s comments on Middleton without revealing exactly what they were. This further strained their bond. William has allegedly been trying to get him and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, “evicted” from the Royal Lodge.
