A new report suggests Prince Harry was “anxious” on the red carpet while attending an event with his wife, Meghan Markle, in 2024. Judi James, a body language expert, recently analyzed the outing in an exclusive Daily Mail report. Meghan was dressed in an elegant black ball gown for the premiere event. According to the expert, the Duchess of Sussex “seemed to treat this red carpet appearance as a full-blown Hollywood one.”
James continued that Meghan “pulled the kind of moves A-list celebrity couples perform.” This included romantic gestures like placing her hand on her husband’s chest and holding his hand while walking into the venue. The expert stated that Meghan was “fully in charge of the steering on the night.” Simultaneously, according to James, Harry was “showing body language signs of anxiety” while posing on the red carpet.
Moreover, the prince seemingly felt more uneasy after entering the venue. Harry and Meghan were reportedly taken three rows back, while the VIPs were said to be in the front. James added that the duchess’s smile suggested that her “expression of utter graciousness was unflinching.” However, Harry did not reflect the same. The expert stated that the duke performed “several gestures of reluctance” and “discomfort.”
James further suggested the reason behind Harry’s unease. The expert explained that as a member of the British royal family, he had been used to receiving “preferential treatment” at public events. However, this seemingly wasn’t the case at the premiere. At this event, the couple was reportedly “expected to take their own seats.” According to James, Harry’s “lack of experience” in such a setting seemed to “show through here.”
Therefore, Harry and Meghan’s attendance at the premiere of “Bob Marley: One Love” may have been awkward.
