Years after the passing of Liam Neeson’s wife, Natasha Richardson, her makeup artist, Sandy Linter, has recalled the actor’s kind gesture. The artist shared a thank-you note on Instagram that she received from the star in 2009. The actor wrote the letter to the artist for doing Richardson’s funeral makeup. The sweet gesture once again proved that Neeson is “such a good guy.”

Liam Neeson’s good deed is making waves on the Internet. Renowned celebrity makeup artist, Sandy Linter, shared a thank-you note on Instagram that she received from the actor after doing his late wife Natasha Richardson’s funeral makeup.

In the Instagram post on August 2, the makeup artist revealed that she had done Richardson’s makeup several times while she was alive. Sadly, when the actress passed away in 2009, she was “asked to make her up while she was ‘lying in state’.”

However, “2 months later,” after Richardson’s funeral, Linter received a phone call from the “Absolution” star. He invited her home and handed a typed note to thank her for the services. The letter, dated May 4, 2009, read, “My family and I are so appreciative of what you did for our Natasha. We were deeply touched by your gesture, and realize how difficult it must have been for you. It meant so much to all of us. Thank you so much.” The heart-warming gesture deeply touched Linter, who claimed, “He’s such a good guy,” in the post.

Neeson and Richardson met in 1993 while working in a Broadway revival of Eugene O’Neill’s classic play, “Anna Christie.” The couple married a year later on July 3, 1994. They welcomed two children – Micheál and Daniel – together.

Richardson passed away in March 2009 due to a skiing accident on Quebec’s Mont Tremblant, resulting in a head injury. Describing her last phone call with his late Richardson, Neeson told Anderson Cooper on “60 Minutes” that he “spoke to her, and she said, ‘Oh darling. I’ve taken a tumble in the snow.’ That’s how she described it,” the actor recalled five years after the tragic incident.
