Rob Shuter’s exclusive #ShuterScoop report revealed that Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau do not mind the dating rumors swirling around them. Despite the headlines, a source close to Trudeau told Shuter, “They’re enjoying each other’s company,” confirming, “they’re not dating — at least not right now.” The source emphasized that the two celebrities are spending time together but are not currently in a romantic relationship. 

The dating rumors reached new heights after the former Canadian prime minister attended Perry’s concert in Montreal. Trudeau was front and center in the audience, and his 16-year-old daughter, Ella-Grace Margaret Trudeau, accompanied him. He looked relaxed and jammed along to the pop singer’s songs at The Lifetimes Tour. Moreover, on July 28, the pair was spotted dining together at one of Montreal’s finest restaurants, Le Violon. As per the eyewitnesses, Perry and Trudeau appeared close and at ease with each other.

Both high-profile personalities are navigating new chapters in their personal lives. The pair’s dating rumors surfaced following Perry and Orlando Bloom’s breakup. Trudeau, too, announced a divorce from his ex-wife, Sophie Grégoire, in 2023 after being together for nearly two decades. 

Despite sailing in similar boats, there is no confirmation that Perry and Trudeau are currently dating. According to Shuter’s exclusive, they have been to dinners, concerts, and public outings together, but nothing confirms the dating rumors. Moreover, the pair seems unaffected by the attention, with the source suggesting that they are content to let the speculation run its course.
