Jennifer Lopez’s New Song Lyrics Are ‘Too Much’ For Ben Affleck, Says ‘Source’

Jennifer Lopez‘s new song is seemingly making it harder for Ben Affleck to move on from their split. Earlier this month, the singer debuted her latest track, “Wreckage of You,” which was seemingly inspired by their divorce. Reports previously mentioned that Lopez first sang the song on July 2 at a private fan event and played a couple of other upcoming songs. Sources recently revealed that all Affleck wants is to “forget” about their marriage, but her new song isn’t helping.

Jennifer Lopez ‘unapologetic’ about her new song, says ‘source’

Globe magazine exclusively learned that Ben Affleck has been finding it difficult to deal with Jennifer Lopez’s new song. A source claimed that the lyrics are “too much” for him, although the singer is “happy to be singing her truth.” It appeared that Lopez has been “totally unapologetic” as the track, “Wreckage of You,” has been proving useful in kicking off a “whole new musical chapter” by being the ideal “launchpad.”

Moreover, the insider believes it’s “all the better” for the singer-actor if the new song “upsets” her ex-husband. They further revealed that she “hasn’t forgotten the pain” and that “writing about the experience and setting it to music” has been helping her cope. E! News reported that following the private event on July 2, when J.Lo introduced six new tracks, including “Wreckage of You,” for a handful of fans, she sang it during her Up All Night Tour in Spain days later.

However, Ben Affleck feels Jennifer Lopez’s new song was a “step way too far.” Globe’s insider revealed that the “Batman” star wants to “forget the marriage ever happened,” but the track has made things more “awkward and miserable.” Lopez debuted the song as the matter of the former couple’s sale of their marital home drags on. Seemingly, it has already been “costing him a fortune” and dealing with the “fallout” song is just “too much for him.”
