Ben Affleck is looking for a permanent address near his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner’s house. As per reports, the actor is searching for a bachelor pad in Brentwood. This will not be the first property for Affleck in the same locality. After the divorce from Jennifer Lopez, the actor was living in a Brentwood rental and was in possession of a house worth millions.
Ben Affleck reportedly house-hunting closer to ex’s place
A year after ending his marriage with Jennifer Lopez, actor Ben Affleck is still exploring other real estate options. According to DailyMail, the star was reportedly touring an under-construction house in Brentwood on Sunday, which is closer to his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner’s, residence. Affleck is particularly looking for bachelor pads in the same upscale Los Angeles neighborhood so that he can stay close to Garner and their children.
This will not be the first house in Brentwood for the 52-year-old star. After the divorce from J.Lo, the actor rented a home at $100,000 a month in the same place. Affleck even made headlines for reportedly buying a $20.5 million property. This is situated two blocks from Garner’s $7.8 million Brentwood Park residence. According to a People source, the actor’s new Los Angeles home is “family-friendly, but it could easily be transformed into a bachelor pad.”
Affleck’s house-hunting spree continues even a year after splitting with Lopez. The former couple first met on the sets of the film “Gigli.” They soon started going out and later got engaged in 2002. However, they broke up in 2004.
In the same year, Garner and Affleck’s love story started grabbing attention again. The former couple then married in 2005. They even welcomed three children – Violet Anne Affleck, Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck, and Samuel Garner Affleck. But their romance was short-lived as they got divorced in 2018.
The “Deep” actor then rekindled his romance with Lopez in 2021, before tying the knot year later. However, the former couple officially parted ways after two years with their divorce being finalized at the end of 2024.
Now, with the house in the same neighborhood, it seems Affleck wants to spend more time with his ex-wife, Garner, and their kids.
